init_extern

Create a .c file which initializes all of the externs in a .h file.

Command line usage (if any):

usage: init_extern.py filename

Description:

This routine allows one to generate a .c file that intialized global variables that have been classified as .h

Primary routines:

doit

Notes

This was used in 2111 to create ..extern_init.c files from various .h files where global variables had been declared as extern, in accordance with the modern anssi standard.

It may not be needed in future, since if a change is made to a .h file, it will likely be more exeditions to modify the .c file by hand
